Hi! I’m Bliss.
I am a graphic designer living in Los Angeles (Tongva, Chumash ancestral lands). As an intersectional feminist and environmentalist, my aim is to explore how design can be a meaningful tool to help accelerate change. My design background includes working in-house and in contract roles for non-profits, community-centered design studios, and educational institutions. I also have significant experience with creative directing, project management, copy editing and writing, and marketing communications.
In 2019, I earned my MFA in Graphic Design from Boston University’s School of Visual Arts. Previously, I had worked as a marketing communications professional before transitioning over to design. I earned my BA in Environmental Policy from Mount Holyoke College in 2013.
I enjoy visual problem solving, decolonizing grid systems, and lending my skills to causes I personally care about. I am also a rock climber, gardener, and aspiring permaculture designer.
